How to buy a smile through a webshop.
Buyasmile is a joint venture of 12 worldwide based non-profit organizations. They sell goods manufactured by people in countries like Burkina Faso, Guatemala, India, Kenya, Nepal, Peru and many others to Western markets.
All the profits go straight back to the non-profit organizations and the local manufacturers.
Buyasmile needed a webshop so they could sell their manufactured products to their partners and end customers in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, Germany, France and rest of the world on request.
The challenge was to create a simple, yet powerful, but low-cost webshop that would help Buyasmile easily sell their products.
We prepared a webshop that is graphically customized to reflect the Buyasmile brand.
The solution is based on the responsive design approach and it can be accessed from any mobile device.
The webshop has a set of features that helps Buyasmile do their sales. A filtering system reflects the specifics of their activity, filter by country of origin and organization. Another important feature resides in social sharing functionalities of the webshop.
The results improved the way Buyasmile sell products to their existing partners and helped them extend their customer base.
