The background

Impermo started as a family business and have been selling tiles, natural stone and parquet since 1918. Impermo is the market leader in Belgium. They have 4 large showrooms in Belgium.
Strengths: a strong team of 56 young and enthusiastic staff, a wide range of products, professional advice, competitive prices and stock of more than 100.000 sqm tiles, natural stone and parquet.

The challenge

Although a strong growing business, Impermo realized that their online presence was non-existent. They urgently needed an online catalog with sales capabilities so they could more easily present products, attract customers to the store and sell products online.
We were asked to develop a webshop with a product catalog that could be easily used by both professionals and consumers.
The new solution needed to be easy to use on mobile, tablet and desktop devices. The data shown in the webshop needed to be accurate and to reflect the prices and the stocks in the showrooms.

The solution

We developed a responsive design webshop according to Impermo’s brand. In this way, they are present not only on desktop devices but on any mobile device too.
The process of finding products was adapted for professionals and consumers so they both could easily find what they were looking for.
A well-designed picture gallery was created for customers to get inspired before ordering products.
On the product page, customers find a complete set of information about the product and the different sizes and colors available for that product. The customers can easily calculate the required quantity for their project and can see all the complementary products they need to finalize the project.
The customers have multiple options for purchasing the products. They can make shopping lists, they can reserve the products in a showroom, they can have the products delivered at a specific location at a specific time and many other features.
The webshop creates a link between online and offline words in many ways, providing a unified buying experience. The webshop is completely synchronized with SAP in terms of products, prices, stocks, customers and orders.

Impermo’s brand experience is not only on desktop devices but on any mobile device too.

In addition to their modern webshop, we built them a mobile app for their showroom agents, so they can assist clients in a better way. We also created a custom tool that they use internally to locate a certain product in the showroom.
