Lensonline wanted to improve the way collaboration with their optician partners worked by providing them with a powerful ordering tool that also has the necessary features to ﬂawlessly interact with their end customers.
They wanted to tighten the link with opticians by offering them a suite of support tools together with quality sales and delivery services. All based on the idea of a full service from one single provider with good products and good pricing.
Fast shipment of products to the optician’s ofﬁces and to their end customers is a key tool helping opticians to initiate and handle all this ordering process and customer interaction.
The solution needed to be easily replicable in other locations and to new business partners. The solution needed to seamlessly integrate both logical and functional features with the rest of Lensonline’s sales ecosystem.
Together with Lensonline we deﬁned the speciﬁcations of a B2B ordering tool with strong CRM, speciﬁc to this type of customer.
All the optician’s interaction with their patient can be done through this app. They can manage appointments, take consultation notes, order products for patients and make all the accountancy work and manage relation with their patients.
The patients registered by opticians automatically become Lensonline users. The patients can receive the products at the optician’s location, at home or in any other way available to a regular Lensonline webshop buyer.
The app is linked with SAP and the online platform so all the products, prices and stock info are available in the app immediately. Because the app is synchronized with the Lensonline SAP, all optician orders are instantly processed, prepared and shipped by Lensonline.
The optician’s CRM and ordering tool works together with the optician’s eye checkup app and they are integrated into Lensonline’s ecommerce platform and ERP system.
